I won't say she talked too fast (maybe a little), just that I am slow in comprehension. English is not my first language and even after being in this country all these years, I'm still slow in digesting the language.

I made a telehealth appointment to get a check up because I am experiencing throat pain, congestion, yellow or clear flem, and runny nose. During my telehealth appointment, I was told that I could not be properly assessed because I was not in-person. This is something I should have been told when I made the appointment. Also, if reception made a mistake, why didn't she have reception call me back to reschedule for an in-person appointment? Additionally, she assumed that I could be experiencing severe allergies, a condition which no MD in my 33 years of life has told me that I have nor have I experienced severe allergic reactions. She assumed that Sudafed was having a negative impact on me. Also, I have a history of sinus infections. A lack of knowledge of my case suggests she may not have reviewed any of the 12 years that I've been a patient at NM. She refused to give antibiotics because she could not tell if it was a viral infection or bacterial and suggested alternatives like saline solutions.

I have recommended her to friends. She’s a very caring doctor who asks great questions but is also very personable. I know she listens very well to my health concerns and is not judge mental. Spends enough time at my appointment too.
