She takes the time to answer all questions. Goes above and beyond to help patient. My daughter can hear again because she took the time to clean out her ears instead of telling her to go home and use debrox. She seems to care about her patient.

First, my appointment was supposed to be with Dr. Ma. So, it was an absolute surprise to me that my appointment was with her. She mistakenly thought she had seen me before but I had never seen her in my life. She said my lymph nodes had grown 1-2 cm and my spleen was enlarged. I have been seeing oncologists at Northwestern and MD Anderson for over 5 years and this is the first time anyone had said this. The labs weren't completely back so we did a cursory review. Also, on MyChart, there was no follow up on my labs. I had no confidence in her abilities or clinical acumen.

She cares and has taken time to actually assist me in getting my mom’s blood pressure and sugar levels under control. She also called palliative services to help me with my mom’s care at home . She has a very positive attitude and outlook towards helping the elderly and actually has been on point with my mom’s diabetes.Alzheimer’s and Dementia we’re managing as best as we can as a team. I really appreciate her for this. She has actually been a life saver! Thank you for the survey!

I’ve had her before and have had good experiences with her but this last time she seemed very rushed and made the statement to me that she only has 10 minutes. I am assuming she was just having a bad day but it made me feel a bit insignificant.
