Kelly oversaw the removal of stitches, asked about any pain levels I had experienced since my hand surgery, asked about my dexterity and if I had any problems with normal activity. She explained that the surgical incision was healing well and that the discomfort I was feeling in the middle knuckle of my middle finger of my right hand was normal for my type of surgery. She suggested I continue opening and closing my right hand as far as possible and that the ability to open my middle finger equally with the other fingers without pain, should return within two weeks or so.

She provided excellent post-operative care and answered my questions. She made suggestions on how I should continue to care for my hand as it healed. I am glad she suggested Vitamin E oil to keep my skin soft and flexible.
