Dr. Hufmeyer has a great personality. She is warm and thorough with history taking, which i believe is very important on your first visit. You can open up to her and i am comfortable right away with her the moment she came in and greeted me.

Dr. Hufmeyer was very personable, professional, and thorough, but outside of taking my blood pressure, she didn't lay a hand on me. At my visits with Dr. [ ] she would exam my ankles for swelling, listen to my heart, and lungs, check my ears, and throat. I guess the standards have changed, and a this type of exam isn't the norm now with the time limitations imposed on busy doctors these days. Nothing against Dr. Hufmeyer, but it wasn't was what I was used to.
