Dr. Altman is my lead AML doctor. She is knowledgeable, throrough, caring, and professionally and emotionally intelligent. She is quick to understand me and always teaches and informs me in ways that are meaningful to me.

Dr.Altman is very down to earth person. Goes beyond and above to explain the patient current situation, what is going on and what steps sb taken for treatment. Makes sure they understand so we all are on the same page. She definitely is there to help not just see the patient. This is why she is getting 10. Well done doc Altman.

Dr. Altman is an exceptional clinician. She commits time to me as an individual, learning about my symptoms and my concerns. She thoroughly explains treatment options and discusses pros and cons of each. She is supportive of my goals of care.
