Jennifer was very professional and kind. She spent the time to explain what I was feeling and why. She did not sugar coat my status and progress. She took the time to explain how I am feeling now and what it means, and what to expect for the next several months. She helped my wife and I get our heads around the situation.

Jennifer provided insightful explanation to various questions and concerns I had about my HCM condition and how this heart disorder impacts the quality of my life. I was impressed with her deep knowledge of the condition and how well she listened rather than simply being dismissive or non-responsive. Her knowledge of life post the [ ] [ ] procedure helped me understand some aspects of the disease that I currently experience. She was extremely prepared and well versed in clinical conditions.

So this is interesting. I have always wanted The Best....who wouldn't? After all, we're talking HEALTHCARE! By choice, I have never wanted to be seen by a PA-C. Only Doctors! Jennifer P. DeGuzman changed that! Jennifer KNOWS her stuff! Jennifer is VERY thorough! I may have been her last patient after she clearly had a LONG day and not one moment did I feel rushed! She has a plan for me and I feel very comfortable with that plan. My Goal is to do My part to LIVE as long as I can and I believe she will help me and God will do the rest!

I had a fabulous visit. It was thoughtful and informative. One of the best experiences I’ve had at Northwesrern. Jennifer DeGuzman took the time to answer my questions in such a patient and thoughtful way (she drew me pictures!!). It’s an exemplar for patient-centric services.

My husband and I always visit our doctors together because I cannot drive to go myself. She was understanding and worked with each of us to go over all our personal details and explained and helped us with any questions we had. She was professional, understanding of my auto-immune disease and gave us information and guidance about what we should be doing to keep healthy.

Jennifer utilized a drawing to explain in layman's terms what I was experiencing internally and, in doing so, allayed my fears and concerns. This, in turn, reduced my stress levels which had the effect of substantially reducing my symptoms and improving the way I felt. I'm very appreciative of the contribution she has made to my health and consider her a valuable member of my health team.
