She takes time, listens to patient (my protests and all). Recommends and explains pros and cons of treatment possibilities; explains risks and benefits; then lets me decide without acting like she's a wounded god if I refuse something recommended (say a mammogram-- which I have reasons to object to.) She's thorough, gentle, careful, patient.

She has worked with me to control my type 2 diabetes where my a1c is well under the max. She listens to what you have to ask her and will give you an answer. She is wonderful and that helps me trust what she says.
