I appreciate Dr. Rosenthal's no-nonsense style. He examined my heart both with a test(ECG) and then with a body heart check. He went over my symptoms from both Afib episodes from this year. It was hard to recall my symptoms from an episode from eight months ago, but with the doctor's reassurance, I was able to recall some of the details. He placed me on a blood thinner in order for me to bypass a stroke. He ordered a cholesterol test to make sure there's not a lot of plaque(?) on my artery walls. He noted my relationship with my general internist and my oncology doctor. My doctor instructed me what to do about extra bleeding form my new medicine and we talked about the Kardia app on my smartphone. I have to follow up with his nurse to get instructions about getting the ECG read over to MyChart for potential care. Dr. Rosenthal is very personal. We had a chance to talk about my diet, which I always appreciate talking about that category. We exchanged holiday greetings, which I liked a whole lot.
