Today I had a cosmetic procedure. It involved me applying a topical anesthetic prior to the appointment and then the procedure involved some burning of the skin. I may not have applied enough of the anesthetic everywhere. She took her time and always was checking in with me on my pain tolerance. It was almost as if she had the same compassion as my mom, but with the medical training. I’m so grateful for Dr. Carlson-Thorn.
