I would very highly recommend Dr. Lyon to anyone in need of retinal care. My case has been a highly complex one and she has continually demonstrated an exceptional level of expertise, dedication to understanding all factors involved, following a treatment strategy that would minimize risk, and making the surgery as successful and comfortable for me as possible. This was a multi-faceted, 6 hour operation involving under anesthesia eye exam, vitrectomy, epiretinal peeling, scleral buckle placement, and laser surgery. Yet, despite this, I experienced no eye pain after the surgery, and did not require a gas bubble as she managed to accomplish everything without introducing any complications. My recovery trajectory has been very positive and her follow-up has been diligent. Based upon my own experience and that of a colleague who had a different retinal surgery performed by Dr. Lyon, I believe it is merited to consider her one of the world's leading retinal care providers, and with that, the NW Medical retinal practice.
