Everyone should have a Doctor as competent and caring as Dr. Mathias. She explained everything to me. Her surgery was perfect. Her before and after examinations were so helpful. I feel confident in my choice of eye care and she answered all of my questions. As she explained everything I wrote it down and she went over and over things until I understood. She was also kind to my daughter who accompanied me. She is an A+ doctor and person.

Dr. Tout is a good listener. Took a lot of time to get to know me as a patient which I appreciated a lot. He was extremely prompt in communicating my lab results and give his recommendations for treatment. He was unhurried during my visit and genuinely seemed interested in knowing me as a person and not just an appointment to finish up quickly. I know that doctors, through no fault of their own have a time schedule to keep. I don't expect him to take as much time with my appointment the next time I see him. He now knows what he needs to. I just want to say that I would not make a fuss if I had to wait longer in the waiting room than expected in order to see him.

When Dr. Heidmann comes in to see me for my appointments, the first thing she asks me is “How are things going?” Then she listens to what I have to say without interruptions. To me, that’s very important because I feel she is truly listening to what l’m saying. She answers all of my questions and addresses all of my concerns, and if she needs to use “medical terminology” will thoroughly explain what it means. She has what I like to call, “very good bedside manner” with patients!

Dr Marra had previously done a rotator surgery on my right arm over14 years ago. Dr Marra is the only surgeon I would allow too do any shoulder surgery on me, he is the very very best Dr. and surgeon I would ever trust. North Western Hospital should be proud to have Dr Marra!!!!
