Dr Mikati is an incredible cardiologist and an unbelievably nice person. From the moment you walk in the room you feel that you are in the hands of a knowledgeable yet compassionate expert doctor. He pays attention to the patients needs and always provides the best of care. He's so brilliant and pays such close attention to what the patient says that he remembered that my father played chess with his grandson after being told that 7 years ago. Dr. Aimee was lovely and her student apprentice was especially remarkable. I felt extremely heard, safe, and compassionately viewed as a living, breathing human. Compared to my last appt with NW for primary care, where I was belittled and gaslit about my symptoms the whole time, here I felt like my concerns were taken seriously and provided with clear options and education on them all. I really appreciated this appt and any practice would be very lucky to have her under their employ.

He personally answers messages sent to him on the MY Northwestern App. In a consultation, he answers all questions clearly, and if a patient needs to see a specialist in his department, he identifies the physician one shouid see. A high energy doctor, Dr. Tanna is not only outstanding in his specialty, he connects well with his patients.
