She was great, listened to my long story and kept engaged and open minded. Glad I was recommended to her so I have a good local GI I feel comfortable with since I fired my last one for gross negligence and was only left with my one downtown at UofC who originally was my backup but had to make my primary after realizing my last one was not good but kept on my team as they were local. Having only the one downtown after firing my last local GI is inconvenient being so far away and they will end up becoming my backup again and Dr Shamsi my primary in due time.

A few years ago, I was having a horrible problem with unexplained sweating. I had seen several doctors looking for answers and was pretty much dismissed by all of them. Dr. Russo didn't have an answer for me at the time of my appointment with her, but within 48 hours, she sent me a 21-page information packet that addressed the possible causes for my problem which allowed me to rule out many of the listed causes and figure out the source of the sweating. She was the only professional who took the time to listen.
