I have had gel shots at a different practice before and found them to be very painful. Joyce administered the gel shot and it was not painful! Uncomfortable, yes but not painful. I was so relieved. I have two more to go and my anxiety level will be much lower now. Also, I tend to get lightheaded from the stress and pain. Joyce stayed with me until she was sure I could walk out on my own.

She is amazing doctor! She takes time to answer ever question that we had and never rushed us with making an decisions. She was so nice the call with the pathology reports after to let us know that the melanoma hadn't spread. She is an example of what and how every doctor should communicate and treat their patients. This was my second surgery with Doctor Hardy. Several things come to mind when I tell others about her: empathy, compassion, positivity, intelligence, communicative, humorous, and most of all trustworthy. She’s the kind of doctor that will actually call you at home to check on you herself; not delegating it to her staff! Seriously, who does that anymore!?
