Dr. Ambler is amazing. He's been my doc for almost 25 years. He lets you speak and he listens. He'll let you be apart of your care and discusses options. I'm very thankful that he's my doc. It's rare to find one like him!

Dr. Ambler is thorough, I do not feel rushed and I fully trust he will give me the correct information and advice on my health. He discusses matters in a calm fashion and allows time for questions/concerns. In the past if I have contacted him through myChart he has always responded quickly.

Dr. Douglas ambler has been our family doctor for over 20+ years he's an excellent Dr he took care of my wife she passed on 11 2021 he's such an excellent Dr for her he made sure and did everything possible her whole life he took care of her he's such an asset to Northwestern I am so grateful that he was my wife's doctor she pass very peacefully and with no pain and she always think them every time he saw her and she thak all the nurses at CDH Northwestern the excellent staff that took care of my wife over 20+ years again I am so thankful that he was her doctor I can't put enough words to tell you how great a doctor he was and all the doctors that take care of my wife and especially the surgeon doctor Anthony Altomare they are all like family to us they are so such special people and that's reason we always went to CDH Northwestern for the care they gave my wife thank you for all your love every time she was there
