Darlene is very professional and explains things (medications and their impact) in an understandable manner. Darlene is a strong communicator and allows me to provide input based on how I'm feeling rather than dictating courses of treatment without patient involvement or understanding. Darlene has support graphics she utilizes to further support the education process which I find very helpful. I have had at least 6 former psychiatrists and I find Darlene to be the best fit I've had.

Darlene was absolutely amazing! She actually listened, WE discussed how I was feeling and how I actually FELT while taking my current meds. She didn’t just look at my current med list and just say ok I’ll send the refills in and how is everything else going like in passing while typing my notes and not paying attention while I was talking. She listened was engaged, described to me her thoughts of my current meds and some things she was thinking of adjusting and asked what I thought. And I thought her recommendations sounded great! Excited to work with Darlene and see if this adjustment will be the change to my meds that I have been looking for and been needing for sometime!

She is the first psychiatric professional that has treated me like a person and talked with me. Many psychiatrists are just drug pushers. She really works with you to do what’s best. She treat you like a real person and that you’re the only person that she’s working with. I can’t tell you how much she’s made a change in my life.
