Dr. Southerland was so attentive and listened to all of my concerns. She was very thorough in her exam and asked a lot of questions. It didn't feel rushed, and felt like she was really taking the time to make sure I understood what was happening with my blood pressure and steps I could take to lower it.

Dr. Southerland truly listens, understand and really tries to help! She doesn’t rush - She spends time with her patients and makes you feel heard and understood. I couldn’t recommend her enough, she has been outstanding!

Dr. Southerland is literally the best! She is the nicest person ever! She listens intently to your concerns and gives the best advice and solutions. She never makes you feel bad about anything and will make sure you're solidly informed about any procedures taking place or any vaccines, medications, etc that you're getting. I love going to her and hope I never have to see any other doctor!

I actually cannot say enough great things about Dr. Southerland. She is the real deal! I normally keep all of my appointments within a 20-25 minute drive but I drive over 1.25 hours to see her because I am confident in her decisions; I know I will be treated with dignity; I can share embarrassing matters with her without feeling uncomfortable; I know I will be listened to and involved in decisions; and I know that if possible she will allay any fears or concerns. Yesterday she amazed me once again with how patient she was with my questions. It’s really a wonderful thing to not feel rushed when you are worried about your health. She is always so very attentive. Thank God for Dr. Danielle Southerland and Northwestern Medicine. I have no doubt that I am in good hands.
