Dr Nagar takes time with her patients.

She understands my husbands frustrations and difficulties and she listens. She professional, kind, Interested and caring. She is the first Neurologist he has ever liked in 15 years of of being a patient.

Dr. Nagar is truly a blessing in disguise. She had to cancel an appointment of mine in June due to a family emergency. I happened to be on vacation at the time and was unable to come in for the proposed rescheduled time and would otherwise need to wait until October to see her. I am in the process of getting scheduled for various testing at Mayo Clinic during my clinic week at the end of August, just finished up seeing a sub-specialty Neurologist at NorthShore for my ANS and had results and findings to report and am in the process of preparing for a move out of state to Georgia and will be needing to find brand new doctors. Dr. Nagar was able to fit me in at an 8:00am time slot (the only time Im available) at a date of my choosing just a couple weeks later. She stated that she was going to personally write a letter of introduction to a new neurologist I was scheduled to see at Emory University and assured me that she could still see me via Telehealth even after I move out of state, which is a huge breath of fresh air. I have never encountered another doctor that has been on the same page with not loading me up with new meds to cover up the problem and instead trying to find out the *why*. She is determined to uncover the underlying components involved and even commended me for sticking with it and not giving up when something turns up uncertain or I reach a seemingly dead end. Im so used to being dismissed by doctors when something isnt right and usually need to have my mom present in order for anyone to ever take me seriously and give me a second look. But Dr. Nagar *sees* me and never makes me feel like I am not heard or dismissed. There needs to be more Dr. Nagars in the world! And preferably in GA. And in every specialty on my list. That would be fabulous.

She is there for the patient and made a call to see if there was an appt available. That was nice to do this for me, but an appt wasnt available. I am waiting for a return call to set a date and time.
