Not knowledgeable about covid neurological symptoms, yet works in the covid clinic. Or at least, did not present with a reassuring plan. I expressed my muscle heaviness was a major concern and she only focused on my short-term memory mild issue, which has a low frequency of occurrence and low severity.

Dr Barcelo is one of those rare finds in a physician. She instantly makes you feel at ease, like you're talking to a friend (who really cares). You never feel like you're in a queue of 100 people. She's taken extra steps to address some fears and concerns I had with a call back about additional testing.. 'Hey I just wanted you to know I've ordered this additional test because...' So personable, professional, she really listens. When a doctor has no airs, no attitude - you realize this is confidence. Which makes me feel better and in good hands.
