Thorough, kind, gentle, caring, intelligent----I just wish there was more time to get to know her and talk with her. I knew she was very busy but I never felt that the care she was giving me was less than superior medical treatment.

Dr Kong gave me limited information on how to care for two biopsy areas on my skin. She did not tell me that it would be extremely painful and extensive bruising and swelling. I wish I had not had it done. It wasn’t worth it. She did not tell me what type of sutures she gave me, if I need to return for removal or take them out myself. One fell out on the third day anyway. She was, however, interested in what I did for a living which I thought inappropriate rather than tell me what I was getting into.

Except for the difficulty scheduling appointments, she is knowledgeable of all kinds of skin problems and treats them with follow-up.

Dr. Kong was friendly and polite and seemed knowledgeable but her ability to communicate thoroughly and answer my questions fully was a challenge. I had to ask a lot of follow-up questions to attempt to get the rest and it was difficult to get detailed answers. I got mostly one word answers and I felt like she was in a rush to move onto her next patient. She met the minimum requirements and I believe she knows her stuff, but this is not the kind of Dr-Patient relationship I am looking for.

Doctor gave us so much time. And listen to our problem.. explain us about it and gave us options to treat it. There was almost no waiting time for her to come in and her nurse was super fast to give us office visit summary.
