When scheduling a virtual follow up on her, she is very difficult to deal with. I have an appointment with her at 1pm. And I followed the text and link and it took me to NM chart. I thought it will be video and would give me a link or something but I still waited. She called ahead of the appointment at 12:47 but I wasn’t able to answer it on time so she left a voicemail saying she was a bit early and would call me back in few mins. As soon as I listened on her voicemail I called her office, on the number she left on my voicemail and that was at 12:52. I was placed on hold for 2 mins to notify her nurse. Then after 2 mins customer service returned and said Bernadette with call me back and that I should hanged up which I did. But while I talking to receptionist I saw another voicemail from her at 12:57pm. I guess I missed her call again. Then I waited at 1pm, 1:09, 1:15 and no one I calling me. To my surprised I thought her nurse rely the message that I just called her office. But after 1:19 and no one is calling me back, I went to log in to my NM chart and there it was, she wrote a note at EXACTLY 1:00 pm that pt cannot be reached and leave a message to reschedule. My appointment is 1pm. So say if I missed her call at 1:01 pm she will not call me back or refuse to talk to me? And how many mins I was given on my televisit with her?!! What he next televisit would be at 1:05 pm, 1:10 pm? Did she just used the time allotted on my appointment for her personal break?! Is this how Northwestern set up virtual visits? Patient only have exactly one minute to talk to provider. I am saying this because at 1pm she wrote down I cannot be reach. And my appointment is at 1pm. I cannot even believe how unprofessional she is. All my doctors are at NM and none of them are like her. The only thing keeping me on seeing her is that all medical surgeries and doctors are at NM but I will never want to be seen by her.
