Because he is very knowledgeable and there are things other Dr.’s told me not to bother with because they weren’t harmful. Dr. Marks will tell me if something is harmful or not, but if it’s not and I still want it corrected or removed he will take care of it. He cares about how the patient feels.

Sadly, at the 2-3 appointments I have had with him, he never actually examined my skin. From the corner of the exam room he would ask how things were going. Never looked at my skin. This last appointment I had to ask for a gown so I could have him look at my skin and he was surprised at my request. I stated the terrible itching is gone , thankfully! I asked him if I could discontinue photo therapy. He stated that would be ok. So we agreed to stop. I was just disappointed in his response overall. You’d expect a dermatologist would want to examine a patients progress. If I need to come back for photo therapy I will request another doctor.
