I am of a generation, that believes that doctors should do more than merely handle medical problems as they occur. In my view a primary care doctor should be a partner with the patient in his ongoing health and well being. Should I ever encounter a serious health issue I want to know that my doctor will be there to give his opinion and advice to help me navigate the many decisions and options of hospital care and treatments. He has been able to provide me the comfort and confidence that I am looking for in a doctor. I understand the medical field has changed dramatically toward becoming more of a 'business' than compassionate caregiving. In my opinion, Dr. Pipitone has a good balance of understanding the business of today's medical care while providing compassionate care. He has always taken the time to address my concerns effectively.

I started with him as a new patient 10+ years ago, seeking to start improving my healthwhich I hadn't been doing -nothing wrong at the time but I realize I had not used annualexams, etc and should have checkups. I followed his advice and my health metrics arevery good. It's also my first experience with a DO.
