He's easily approachable regarding questions about your health care, and sensitive to his patient's concerns about their health. He's very professional, yet caring and knowledgeable. He THOROUGHLY went over my medical history and carefully went over my tests and explained the results and follow-up care, in layman's language that was easily understandable. He made sure I understood everything he explained and didn't worry about the amount of time he had to spend with me. He wanted to be sure I was well informed about my condition and subsequentfollow-up care. I'd recommend him to everyone that if in need of his specialty.

From the beginning of my journey with NW, (after having been told by South Bend, IN Beacon's team that they couldn't help and sent me to NW), I have received excellent care. Dr. Hoel is thorough and attentive to me. He takes time to answer my questions and is truthful when addressing my concerns. He explains the tests and procedures clearly. He skill with my amputation surgery in 2023 was excellent. Other doctors who were treating me in the process of recovery always commented on his work with words like "perfect", "excellent".
