Dr Tsambarlis is a wonderful doctor, I wish she could be my primary care physician and my dentist too haha, she has that great of a bedside manner! Always answers every question and doesn't rush her time with you. She is personable, knowledgable, and kind.

She told me at this visit that not getting a Covid booster meant I was risking leaving my two daughters motherless. She didn’t provide me any research or evidence to back up this claim. I told her I was concerned about getting a vaccine when it’s barely been out two years, and I won’t know the long-term effects on my unborn baby until years down the line. I felt dismissed and just told my other option was dying and leaving my daughters motherless, which I think is a little bit of an exaggeration, whereas I think the unknown risk to my child is of a higher concern. I’m not sure if doctors are under super high pressure to get pregnant patients vaccinated or what, but my husband already had Covid, I had the initial two dose vaccine, never got Covid myself, and I wanted to wait until I deliver to get the booster, but apparently she thinks I’m going to be dead from the virus before then. Just felt harsh and unnecessary. I’ve liked her before this, but this was a shocking visit and both my husband and my dad thought what she said was extreme, especially given that I started the appointment by telling her I’m having major anxiety this pregnancy that I did not have my last pregnancy. Telling me I’m going to die and leave my daughters motherless was not exactly the approach she should’ve gone with.

Dr. Tsambarlis took time to get to know us and help us feel comfortable. She gave us a lot of information in language we could easily understand and took time to address all of our questions.
