He's always so kind ,patient, knowledgeable, and explains everything in a calm manner and in layman's terminology. Then he makes sure that the patient understands what he is saying. Northwestern should have more doctors with his caliber and demeanor.

I like that Dr. Poronsky is very thorough in his explanations, patience, understanding, good listener, answers your questions, friendly atmosphere, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about subjects. I am really pleased because he specializes in geriatric care.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Poronsky. I was seen at my appointment time (no long waiting!) Dr. Poronsky was very kind, thorough and really delved into my medical history in order to make recommendations going forward. He did not rush through my appointment at all! I had been with the same doctor for 32 years (he retired!) And I was worried about finding someone I would connect with. Well, I found him! I highly recommend Dr. Poronsky.

Dr. P was recommended to me years ago by my sons pediatrician and him and his staff have been spot on. Dr. Poronsky has outstanding bedside manners and puts you at ease.

DR Poronsky after compleating my annual wellness check up took time out to listen to me explain how I am still haveing trouble with my right foot and ankle ,even after I have been seen by a foot &ankle spealist, vascular doctor, nurologist doctor , and thirty therapy sessions and still haveing troubling with not able to walk proprerly. My previous primary doctor did not take the time out to listen to my problem with my right foot.
