She is a knowledgeable, excellent compassionate doctor, but unfortunately her availability is pretty limited and she does not work four or five days a week- also the scheduling system Northwestern uses, makes it pretty difficult to get into see a doctor.

Dr Yen was very knowledgeable about my health issue and advised me of possible resolutions to bring it under control. He was very pleasant and open to a two way dialogue, which is sometimes not the case with other doctors. I’m sure that Dr Yen is very busy, however he did not make me feel as though he was rushed to get onto his next patient. He took the time to answer all of my questions clearly. He finished the appointment by turning his computer screen to me and read over his instructions to me to make sure I understood. He is very thorough and as I said to him during my visit, he gave me hope for getting back to good health. I left feeling very positive thanks to Dr Yen.

Dr. Yen is amazing! He is so knowledgeable, welcoming to questions, great bedside manner, and really wants the best for his patient by collaborating with the patient. I am so blessed to have Dr. Yen as my gastroenterologist!!
