Dr. Mathias is a rare gem because probably only less than 5% of ophthalmologists have the training and certifications cation to use the new MiLoop tool to minimize adverse energy impact on critical structures during cataract surgery. She can also teach residents and students how she does it, too! Totally cool, a star in the heavens! I need her some ial skills because I sustained adverse side effects in my prior cataract surgery on the left eye. Thank God Dr. Mathias has the special talents and skills to diminish the probability of a repeat of the adverse side effects. Northwestern Medicine has selected the best of the best eye surgeons!

Dr Shukla gave his time generously without feeling rushed. He was very patient with asking all the questions about my health history and performed a detailed physical exam. He was respectful of me and my concerns and formulated a detailed plan which he explained to me in detail and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. 20 out of 10 on all accounts. He is a keeper!!

Dr Soudagar was nice, he talked with me and explained everything to me so that I could understand, he listened to my questions and my answers to his questions. I felt comfortable talking with him. He didn't make me feel bad, he talked with me, not at me.
