My appointment with Dr. Teven was markedly one of the best visits to a doctor in a long while. I was late for my first visit and he still saw me in a timely manner. He had reviewed my file prior to seeing him and he was knowledgeable about my autoimmune disorders and concerns - which has proven to be a challenge over the past four years. He asked which doctor was managing my care and provided a rheumatologist recommendation that would be versed in hEDS. Dr. Teven was patient and remained nonjudgmental throughout the appointment. Overall, he was kind, solutions-driven, and genuinely helpful.
