Here’s an example: Dr. Tellez had prescribed a hormone blocker that I need to take for five years. It has awful side effects, and I’ve only been on it 6 months! As we were discussing these side effects, she decided to temporarily take me off of the drug, saying…it’s important to me that we don’t diminish your quality of life!
