I have had GERD/Reflux (even [specific condition]) for MANY years. Dr. Farina is my third gastroenterologist. (The 1st retired and the 2nd referred me to Dr. Farina early this year.) Dr. Farina has been vigilant in trying to diagnose and treat my problem (instead of just cycling through more and more PPI options). He is great at follow-up and has called me personally on more than one occasion.

Unique mechanical engineering background makes him so much more innovative than the average ortho surgeon. He has so much experience. You should take care to have other surgeons shadow him so that all his knowlege and expertise is passed along for posterity to benefit.
