I have been a patient of Dr. Savan Patel for over 2 years. He is a great orthopedic doctor. I have followed him since he was in practice in Libertyville at Chicago Hand & Orthopedic Surgery Centers. He performed surgery on my shattered tibia - fibula fracture. One of the worst he has ever seen he said. I am planning on having the hardware in my ankle removed and met with Dr. Patel to discuss removal. I highly recommend Dr. Patel. He listens to you and does not rush you. He answers all your questions and makes you feel you are important and in good hands.

She's efficient and that's about it. I didn't get any sense of warmth or an attempt to connect with my child. It seemed to her that our visit was just one more thing to get done. Given that the clinic was a virtual ghost town, I would have thought that getting to know a new patient a little better wouldn't eat into much else. But the purpose of our visit (school physical) was accomplished and I have more time to search for a pediatrician who meets our needs better.
