The physician looked at my chart and laughed at the amount of medications that I was taking. (As if I am taking them for my own pleasure or enjoyment...)She also did not seem engaged or interested in my concerns related to fertility. When asked about outcomes of my conditions, she did not provide statistics or information that was helpful. She also did not consider how my thyroid or PCOS diagnoses contribute to weight gain. Therefore, my recent diagnosis of hypothyroidism created the spike in my weight and cholesterol. She said 'oh yea' When I mentioned that I started dieting and exercising again which felt degrading and sarcastic of her. I would not refer anyone I know to go with her. She needs to be more mindful about how her demeanor impacts her patients. I plan on switching physicians within that clinic due to my experience.
