I was asked if I had any questions, however I was new to the procedure and did not know what questions to ask. The staff and doctor could have gone over more in depth the precautions and needed next steps with an IUD. Simple things besides cramping side effects could have been discussed like back up method timeline, stopping current birth control pill, standard things along those lines. Or have a pre-printed handout on these education needs to give to the patients. I had to call the nurse to assist me and this could have been avoided. They had all the answers, however not all patients know what to ask.

She is just wonderful. I appreciate that she came in and chatted before surgery. She makes you feel comfortable and answers questions during this time. She puts you at ease about the procedure. She was also quick to reach out to my husband following surgery to let him know everything went well.
