Dr. Amstadt always listens to me and I trust her. If she is unfamiliar with something that I have asked her about, then she is honest and says that she will research it and let me know. Less secure people in all positions of life will sometimes just make up an answer for fear of looking uninformed. I prefer an honest response as it shows confidence in their work.

I really like him as my dr but I dont like that he doesnt give me a direct answer to time off work after surgery, ex: œ4 weeks then well re-examine after that.? He basically said œwhenever youre ready?, making me feel like I just dont want to return to work when it had only been a week since surgery and I could barely walk, had two PT sessions, and was still in a considerable amount of pain. I dont even get my stitches out until this coming week. Pre-op he told me 4-6 weeks which made me feel very comfortable and now I feel rushed. Im not comfortable with this at all. Im scared to return too soon.
