I was actually surprised by the amount of time the neurologist spent with us. I’m used to doctors being in and out quickly (I know they’re very busy so I don’t fault them!), but Dr. Coker took the time to complete a thorough examination and to discuss recommendations with me without making me feel rushed. Dr. Coker also was able to provide several causes for my sons symptoms and made the plan of care very clear. I knew that Dr. Coker was a good physician prior to our appt, but the time spent with him gave me great confidence in his care and oversight for my son.

She was nice but I felt she rushed through the appt and didn’t address all my concerns that I told the nurse. Of course I didn’t remember them until after I had left. I called back about one of them being my high blood pressure that was taken. I also had mentioned pain I was having and that wasn’t brought up either. She did inspect the swollen tissue on my arm pit and then said I should get an ultra sound but didn’t say why or what she found and I felt no comfort from that. I was too shocked to ask questions. I really thought that it would be nothing. Nothing was talked about in what to expect this next month until next appt. It was a rushed exam I felt. And after she told me about the ultrasound I just wanted to leave. I wish she had been more detailed and comforting to me and gone over all my concerns that I had told the nurse and about the blood pressure.
