I appreciate her dedication to providing gender-affirming care to transgender and non-binary individuals. I also appreciate the fact that she takes her time with me. She goes above and beyond to make sure that I am good overall as a human and not just the one body part or body system that the appointment is for. I can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and appreciates getting to know them on a more personal level and not just the next patient on the schedule. To Dr. Karas you are a person, not a number. The world needs more people like Dr. Karas and NM is sure lucky to have her as a provider to their patients. She truly makes NM “better”.
