Comprehensive and thorogh. Absolutely a teacher! He goes through your labs with you and explains them. Specific goals for blood pressure and cares about other medical problems you also deal with. So glad he is a part of your network!

I would have given a higher score but he is sooo! Hard to understand. But I do really lIke him. He is not like most of the doctors at Franciscan, in and out in 5 min with most of your time spent with a assistant. He takes the time to explain everything, never tries to rush things. Makes sure you understand what and why.

For anyone dealing with CKD, Mr. Yussuf will do his best to educate you on the proper diet choices to keep CKD a manageable condition. He loves the data bloodwork shows him and that is reflected in his patient care.

He keeps repeating himself over and over and changes some of his things so by the time you get home you cannot remember what was said. When he is looking at your chart he acts as if it is a crime to look at your chart yourself. Keeps you in his office way too long.
