Just feed back, the young lady walking me and OTHERS back from the waiting are, asked me while walking down the hall…when my last menstrual cycle was. She asked right after asking me my name and date of birth. I am 60 years old and the younger male patient also heard her and was giggling. I wasn’t embarrassed or offended because I have two sons. But my thoughts are that should not have been a question for others to hear and if you just asked me my name and DOB, that question probably could have been eliminated for a 60 year old. I’m thinking that’s what the younger patient was thinking also. LOL.

My appointment went well. I received a good report on my progress. I was able to discuss the next step in my care. The surgeon and his team provided me with answers to my questions. Everyone was very nice and welcomed me.

They were great. They handled an unexpected critical hypotensive episode swiftly with professionalism. Cain, I think was his name, caught the issue and stepped in and stepped up to do what was needed. The entire staff was supportive and professional.

Everything was so good! The nurses were wonderful and very caring. All information was presented in an understandable manner. The only issue was the wait (or was held up with surgery before mine) and it wasn’t anyone’s fault. I’d definitely choose UAB again and recommend it to friends!

Dr Ying was amazing. Check in with EJ was amazing. He went above and beyond communicating with me the day before and morning of about our referral. The rest of the team was so kind and friendly. Thank you for making my child so at ease.
