Nurse was on time, friendly, and thorough. Doctor was late and I sat for a good 45 minutes after the nurse finished before I saw him. Seemed like a nice fellow. But too soon to evaluate the level of care.

Dr. Williams is a truly wonderful doctor. He was very sincere, compassionate, professional, understanding, and knowledgeable. He spent time explaining my back issues and a treatment program. I never felt rushed. One of the best doctors I've ever met.

I have had three procedures with this doctor. The first two were minimally intrusive needles in my back for chronic back pain. The last one was intended as the first of two exploratory procedures, followed by another procedure. During the last procedure, I was told to lie face down on a gurney and had a cool substance put on my back by an assistant. Next, a needle was pushed into the area of my back from which my back pain originates. The needle caused extreme pain, most likely by hitting nerves. This was repeated four times with the same effect. When I got up, I was sweating profusely from suppressing screams of pain. I turned to one of the assistants and said, "I can't believe you did this without numbing the area first. This was brutally painful." The individual responded calmly, "You should have said something." This was a ridiculous response, considering the position I was in. My guess is that the substance on my back was intended to numb the area somewhat, but was not nearly addressing the pain when the needle most likely hit nerves. Since I was lying face down, I'm unable to say if the doctor or his assistant practiced their art of injecting needles. I have canceled all future appointments with this doctor.
