The experience was good as always, except wearing a mask. I think we've learned a lot in 5 years since Covid and masks don't work. In certain situations I can understand but a cardiologist appt is not one of them. A blanket mask mandate is ridiculous and overstepping by the hospital. It should be optional unless the person is ill and coughing. This was not the case I was there for a stress test. So wearing a mask at any point is absurd.

Yes, as always, Dr. Salerno took his time during the visit. He explained everything that I was looking for answers for and as always was very attentive as was his staff.

Well, firstly, Dr. Salerno's office staff is probably one of the most efficient and responsive staffs I've come across in all the years I've been going to physicians. Now, Dr. Salerno is the most helpful physician I've ever gone to. I know his role as a cardiologist and it's a specialty, but he's concerned about my health. ask me questions about what I'm doing, how I'm doing it, suggestions on what to eat, how to exercise, things that I might be doing wrong, things that I might be doing right. I wish that he was my primary care doctor as well. Thank you.

Dr. Salerno is comprehensive. He understands the latest research, incorporates it as necessary into his patient's care, and I've referred quite a few patients to him, even though we live approximately two hours away. He's a tremendous asset to Hackensack University Medical Center.

Dr. Salerno was a very attentive and knowledgeable physician, period. He carefully listened to the symptoms that I complained of or that I was explaining to him. He clearly explained what the different treatment options were, and then we selected one that would fit the best for me. I would strongly recommend Dr. Salerno to a close friend or a family member.
