No they were very helpful

Everyone was fabulous. I'm writing for my mother who is a patient of Dr Meador. She was also examined by his Fellow, Dr [ ]. My mother's appointment was scheduled for January of 2025. I called the schedulers daily to get my mother seen earlier. When they didn't have an available time they told me to keep calling. They were very compassionate. They took notes from my calls and entered them into the system. I was able to speak to the nurses and they also listened. Scheduling called and said that they had an earlier appointment for my mother. During the examination it was clear the doctors had read those messages. They also had reviewed my mother's images and Dr notes before her appointment. They were thorough and compassionate. Fantastic bedside manner. They are going to be able to help my mother. She was crying with relief. She worked at Mass General for more than 30 years as a nurse. She said UAB Medicine is better than MGH. Everyone that we encountered during Mom's visit was so compassionate. They thanked us for visiting. Your hospital is full and there is a waiting list to see Dr Meador, yet they thanked us for coming to UAB Medicine. Amazing experience.

Your scheduling process is horrible. The staff makes no effort to schedule appointments for your convenience or your needs. I was told I had to just take what there was (which is 4 weeks overdue) and I would have to call them back over and over until I could possibly get a cancellation earlier! And when I tried to verbalize my disappointment again, she said, "Do you want to schedule it or not?" So I actually rated the staff as a 7, but if I had to rate just this one staffer, it would be a 3.

I finally found the right nurse and Doctor! I am very happy. He listened to me and she was awesome!!

The doctor Meador was amazing. He seem like her really cares. I truly hope this is the case. This has been our 3rd diagnosis. So our family has been in a world wind for over 8 months now. He truly seemed like he what's to get to the bottom of things and get the correct diagnosis. I pray he does

Nice inside and out

Dr. Meador spent time going over my MRI results and explained it to me. Also, he let me ask all my questions. I feel he is being proactive with my health and my family and I appreciate it.
