Dr. Weitz is a caring, extremely competent doctor. He puts his patients first and explains things clearly. I recently suffered a stroke and ended up at a different hospital than the one he practices at. He kept in touch through the portal and phone, even over a weekend and had an appointment setup immediately the day after I was discharged.

I am very happy that I was seen by Dr. Weitz. I left the appointment feeling that I am in good hands and in the care of someone who is proactive and cares about his patient's well being. Dr. Weitz and his staff got me through open heart surgery. It was clear my situation was driving his recommendation to go to Mass General, and he and his staff supported me through the insurance prior authorization process. The outcome was positive, and I am returning to an active lifestyle.
