Dr. John Wang and his team excelled in my hip-replacement pre- and post-op in-person meetings. They answered all my detailed questions and provided helpful information. Before I met Dr. Wang, I had already met another orthopedic surgeon and had scheduled a meeting with a third orthopedic surgeon. But after meeting Dr. Wang, I knew he was the one to do my hip-replacement, because for the first time I wasn’t afraid of having this surgery done. His patience and good bed-side manner was so calming, and it took my fear away. When I returned home, I immediately cancelled my appointment with the third orthopedic surgeon. Dr. Wang and his team are not only professionals, but they also are kind, patient and helpful. I have recommended him to everyone I know and the HSS center, as well. Many, many thanks to Dr. Wang and his team!

I came in with questions, and Dr. Wang answered all of them. At the end, he walked me to the reception door. It has been 7 weeks, and I feel great after a total knee replacement!

Dr. Wang is the consummate surgeon who not only has impeccable credentials given his background and reputation but impressed me with his forthrightness and professional integrity. He was up front with his advice that I am not a candidate for surgery and advised me to explore less risky options. I am currently doing PT as one of those options.

Dr. Wang and I go way back as I’ve worked in orthopedics for over 20 years. His bedside manner, knowledge and patience is above and beyond. I’m very nervous about my upcoming procedure but his confidence and coaching takes me down a few levels on the anxiety meter. That’s a gift!

I have now scheduled a full hip replacement with them in June
It has taken me over a year to finally have the correct evaluation of what has caused all my issues and pain and a correction surgery to properly fix the medical issues
