Appointment started late, but waiting for Dr. Voong is worth it, I feel the reason why she is late because she takes such excellent care of her patients and takes her time. Unlike some physician are on a time table,

Dr. Voong had clearly reviewed my case and associated test/scan results prior to meeting with me. She reviewed the findings with me and discussed the recommended radiation therapy and duration of treatment for my condition. She discussed the differences between photon and proton radiation and explained why she was recommending proton therapy for me. She further explained that the proton treatments are completed at Sibley, but that she would continue to oversee my treatment and would meet with me every week to monitor my progress or determine if there were any changes necessary.

Doctor Voong's expertise was immediately apparent. She had already studied my case and developed a strategy for treating my illness that was well thought out in advance of my arrival. Her meticulous attention to detail gives me a high level of confidence in her treatment. Dr. Voong is also a very good, very Intelligent listener. I am very lucky to have her on my care team.
