He did a great job examining my eyes and listened to my concerns regarding dry eye. He recommended a punctual plug procedure which after a through discussion I decided to proceed with right then and there. The procedure went very smoothly and he spoke very calmly to me throughout. Today is the next day and feeling good about my decision.

The staff were all really patient with me (it was my first time seeing an optometrist since I was a young child), and each step of the process was explained, along with dispelling any misconceptions I had. Everyone was kind, which is crucial when dealing with nervous/anxious patients like me!

Having had the same procedure performed on both eyes, I wanted identical results. Immediately! When that didn't happen, Dr. Patel explained why it didn't occur and let me know that I needed to be a little more patient. The important thing was he did it in a way that was compassionate and easy for me to understand. Later that same day I took a turn for the better. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel and the entire Matossian group.
