Dr. Shahi was exactly the orthopedist I was hoping to find.
He was thorough, professional, empathetic, understanding and knowledgable.

Doctor Shahi and his assistant were extremely professional but not in a sterile ,robotic way.They were also very kind,engaging and personable. Excellent bedside manner which is difficult to find these days! They made me feel very comfortable so I wasn’t intimidated to ask questions and Dr. Shahi explained my situation in layman’s terms.My husband also sees Dr. Shahi and he recommended him to me as I was not happy with my last doctor. Dr. Shahi took his time with me and for the first time in a very long time I left a Doctors office feeling listened to! The office is so clean,another big plus and it’s easily accessible by public transit.I will be recommending HSS to others.

This was my first visit with Dr Shahi and am so glad that I found him! He was thorough, explained everything clearly, and set out a reasonable course of action.

Dr. Shahi was very thorough explaing what was the source of my pain and what I needed to do in alleviating it i.e. therapy and if that didnt work, what would be the next step to minimize/eliminate the pain

Dr. Vikas Shahi injected both of my knees to relieve pain. He used sonogram to pinpoint the area that needed relief. He did an excellent job and my knees feel much better.
