What else would you like to say about your experience?
From the moment Dr. Turpin walked in the room, I got the distinct feeling my being there was an inconvenience. He did not seem to have an ounce of compassion for me. I have never been made to feel so belittled and dismissed in my whole life. Overall, I walked out of that office completely discouraged.

I live in Arnold,MO, but will not change to a different neurologist for convenience. I have been a patient for twelve years.

What else would you like to say about your experience?
I’m not switching doctors because mine has been with me from the very beginning. He’s known me since I was diagnosed with aphasia. My neurologist understands that after completing physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy—and after losing my husband—my speech and judgment worsened. Still, he always reminds me, 'Look at the struggles I’ve faced and the progress I’ve made since then.' There are still doctors who genuinely care about their patients, not just about profit. When he sees me upset, it deeply affects him, too. That’s how long he’s been part of my life and how much he cares.

What else would you like to say about your experience?
Dr. Turpin is one of my 3 favorite physicians. He is a wonderfully humble, kind, thorough and presents the best “bedside” manner. I feel Blessed to have been under his care for 5-6 years now I believe . Staff is very kind, supportive and most helpful! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars!!

What else would you like to say about your experience?
The service all around was excellent, very professional. I don't understand the human body, but I understood my problem with my brain and the damages done to it. The doctor was incredible, very informative, showed me pictures and images on the screen and made me aware of what was wrong and told me the treatment program. Very satisfied with this facility and the doctor was incredibly excellent. Thank you very much.

I have been going to see Dr. Turpin for years. Dr. Turpin has always been very kind and his staff as well. They always take the time to help me in any way they can.

Dr. Turpin had read my medical history ahead of the appointment. Talked to me about the issues I am experiencing and scheduled appropriate tests. He listened very well and I appreciated the time he spent with me.

Dr Turpin is always kind, compassionate and caring! He a great listener and always seeks clarification if he cannot understand me. He also includes my wife in discussing my Parkinson’s disease diagnosis and symptoms and in recommending ideas for other treatments going forward! He is not pushy and is very patient !

Dr Turpin at the end of my visit started to leave exam room but returned, smiled and said “you did good”. I always try to follow dr instructions but have never been Told I did good. His smile made my day

I’ve been seeing neurologists for 40 years. Dr Duane Turpin is the best I’ve had the pleasure to work with nationwide. He has a certain way about him that neurologists don’t normally have. That’s the ability to be brilliant as a neuro as well as be human and explain those things in a way in caring for whatever human is by his side. Rarest trait I’ve ever witnessed in a neurologist and he should be rewarded for that so that more follow his example. I’ve also had the chance to witness it for over a decade. He’s never wavered.

What could have been done to improve your experience?
Dr.Turpin showing more interest and assistance to finding a resolution for my neuropathy. I told him it wasn’t getting better it was getting worse, and he was about to end the appointment and walk out until I had to tell him I want to know more options for me, side effects, difference etc. I understand to advocate for myself but it was more of me being the doctor/physician and all he’s doing is ordering medication. Very disappointed and this isn’t the first time. I have an appointment scheduled for another doctor because with me having Lupus I need to make sure my team of doctors care and willing to elevate the discomfort and pain
