I like the UAB medicine system overall. It has patient records and an easy registration system. The only problem with this system, which might be the same for others as well, is changing primary physicians requires a long waiting list. This clinic is a bit far away from where I live, but I don't have any other choice around my neighborhood. It is what it is and it works for me now.

The NP and who ever the other person was made it feel like an interrogation. The NP was informative but this other person just stared at me. Very uncomfortable. It’s not usually like this.

Tim was unbelievably great during my visit yesterday. He was warm, kind, and truly listened to me. He clearly explained his understanding of my issue and helped me understand my treatment options. Just a remarkable experience.

The staff at this facility takes patient needs and communication seriously; I have never felt dismissed by any of these practitioners and that is a wonderful rarity in medical care. I have seen Dr [ ], and NPs Timothy Stanhope and Ellen [ ]. I receive uniformly good care even when my practitioner is having a busy day or supervising a student. Thank you.
