NP did a very cursory exam of my issue.
Further he came in the room and did not sanitize his hands. Then he proceeded to grab the disposable tip of the otoscope with an un-gloved hand before using it. He said “you’re guessing then” when I told him what I believed my issue to be, which made me feel like he wasn’t taking me seriously. I have always had a great experience with Dr. Land’s team. This was an exception and I am disappointed.
The nurse was excellent.

I was able to see the NP, get an ekg and an xray in about an hour!! AND the NP figured out the cause of my problem. Everyone was super nice from beginning to end. Love the new place too!!

I like the UAB medicine system overall. It has patient records and an easy registration system. The only problem with this system, which might be the same for others as well, is changing primary physicians requires a long waiting list. This clinic is a bit far away from where I live, but I don't have any other choice around my neighborhood. It is what it is and it works for me now.
