Our Doctor is very easy to understand and he talks to us, not down to us. Really appreciate a Doctor that has a goal of his patients understand processes they are and will be going through. Appreciate our Doctor.

Baptist needs to quit building and raise pay to keep good doctors and nurses in Nassau county. Quit using traveling nurses because they are ok but not as good as regular staff. Staff Baptist Nassau with staff to do procedures as needed during the week and weekends not tell them go to regular doctors on Monday and have them give referral to specialist. Then have to wait three weeks or longer to get the help needed.

The staff and especially Dr. Lucey. From the check in desk to the check out staff you are treated as respected friends. Dr. Lucey is
incredibly knowledgeable, throught and understanding. He answers all my questions in in a manner I can easily understand.
My nerve problems have practically disappeared under his care.

Once Dr. Lucey departs and a new doctor arrives, we will visit that new doctor and re-evaluate our recommendation at that time.Dr. Lucey is abrupt to discount family concerns, with no compassion displayed if determined unwarranted. His bedside manner as far as respect is concerned is beyond atrocious. At our most recent visit, he was the utmost disrespectful to concerns regarding my 92 year old mother, who is hard of hearing, has vision difficulties (documented by the Optometrist), and is unable to clearly express herself due to memory and cognitive issues. He determined in the first 5 minutes that we had no business being there (in his own mind), addressed us rudely and discounted our thoughts for the rest of the visit. He made statements that were subjective, opinionated and full of bias. He was clearly disinterested in any factual information we had to present and made accusatory verbal judgements. We were beyond horrified at his lack of professionalism and are shocked he has been allowed to represent the Baptist system and/or the Island for 15 years. Honestly, the Island will be much better off without his rude attitude and demeanor, and his departure is greatly appreciated.

The staff is friendly and professional. Dr. Tim Lucey is amazing. He truly cares and takes the time to discuss issues and concerns. A few years ago when I was experiencing some health issues, I saw several doctors. Dr. Lucey was the only doctor who identified and treated my problem. Since then with each follow up visit he has been very helpful and informative. Due in part to Dr. Lucey, I am healthier today than I have been in many years.
